Welcome to my About Me page! My name is Scott, and I’m a Sophomore Mass Communications Major at Texas State. I’m originally from Austin, and I moved to San Marcos in 2018 to attend school here. On the left is a photo of my cat I adopted back in November 2019. She’s truly the brains of this blog, and has actually been the one writing my posts this whole time.
My main focus in life right now is going to school and earning my degree. Outside of that, I’m a drag queen who performs in shows at gay bars on the weekends. Since we’re currently in a global pandemic, this hobby has been limited. I started getting interested in makeup and doing drag when I was in high school. I discovered the show RuPaul’s Drag Race and realized that what was what I wanted to do with my life. I began practicing makeup my senior year and going out to drag shows when I turned 18. As soon as I moved to San Marcos, I started doing shows at the local gay bar here and haven’t stopped since. This hobby has become a necessity for me, and has allowed me to express myself in ways I’d never been able to before! Doing drag is absolutely my passion, and it is something that I hope to make a career out of one day.
I started this fashion blog because it’s something I’ve always been interested in, and I thought it’d be a fun topic to explore and share my opinions about. I’ve had so much fun writing my reviews this semester and I’m glad that a required assignment ended up being really enjoyable.
